Aleesha Young is establishing herself as a leading female professional bodybuilder in the second half of the 2010s. Aleesha, born in 1984, is from an athletic family. The father and her siblings played hockey on ice, however her father was into bodybuilding. Aleesha was a softball player, soccer, and basketball before she began bodybuilding at the age of 15. Aleesha obtained her professional license in 2014, after winning her first NPC USA Championships. The first time she competed was in 2008. The 2014 IFBB Wings of Strength PBW Tampa Pro was her first time competing with a 9th-place finish. In 2015, she remained in her 9th place. Aleesha finished 6th both 2015 and 2016 in her participation in the IFBB Wings Of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships. As she continued to improve, Aleesha won her first professional show in 2019 after she took home her first title at the Chicago Pro Championships. Bodybuilder Aleesha was the top performance at the WOS Rising Phoenix event, in which she placed 4th in 2020. However, the "World's strongest mom" took a break from bodybuilding for health-related reason.
